关于COMMUNE——百益上河城店的诞生：

曾是始建于1964年，繁盛于上世纪七、八十年代的南宁绢纺厂厂址。随处可见高耸的老水塔、纵横交错的钢架铁管，红墙旧瓦、旧式厂房。后来街区以旧厂房建筑为载体，“存表去里、翻新致新”，其外表保留了原有的模样，内部空间则进行了重新的分割装饰，以注重场所精神的“24小时开放式街区”面世，重新诠释属于南宁人的时代记忆，成为南宁人青睐的艺术街区。

在设计初期，COMMUNE首先考虑到需要一个足够开敞的空间氛围，在原有的旧厂房空间基础上，尊重建筑自身特点，经过再设计，重新赋予它新的生命。

对于主体建筑，COMMUNE修旧如旧，保留其屋顶及砖墙质地，还原建筑空间原本的样子。

地面用水泥铺垫，屋顶的架构应用的是黑钢的材质，桌椅、吧台和酒水自助选购区都选用原木木质，通过黑钢与木头的质感对比，散发出美式工业风的硬朗。让人仿佛看到19世纪美式餐吧的影子。

采用独特的双顶空间造型，增加视觉上的冲击力。屋顶上空悬吊铁质吊扇与环形吊灯，采用一些金属集合物，焊接点、铆钉等公然暴露在外的结构组件，让空间的复古工业感更加突出。

墙壁同时重新油刷红砖墙，以柔和灯光融合复古红墙，使空间氛围更加柔和，也带了一丝休闲惬意，舒展都市人疲惫的神经。

采用未经打磨的木质餐桌和餐椅，符合人体工程学的特性，累了可以靠着歇一歇，给予脚部足够的支撑，不会因为悬空而发麻。

为了营造开放宽敞的视野氛围，就必须要达到最大面积利用好自然光。窗户的选择不容小觑，COMMUNE采用的是德国进口的旭格门窗，抽拉式开启，让室内外融为一体。

COMMUNE酒水自助选购区的商品陈列，长达12米的货架和冰柜相对，留出1米5的距离让客人自由走动选购啤酒。让人有种走进酒吧中便利店的感觉。

除了以上功能性的陈设，COMMUNE考虑到室内氛围的营造，以及当下年轻人喜欢拍照的特性，加入丰富的非功能性陈设。例如小黑板、形象墙、墙壁上挂的有历史感的复古插画，部分门店正门还放置酿啤酒的大酒桶，既中和工业风的硬朗，又彰显出对生活的追求和质感。客人除了可以在店内享受美食和美酒，还能享受自拍带来的乐趣。

整个设计因为是一个改造并重建的项目，首先是尊重了环境，然后对建筑形态作了有控制的加与减，在修旧如旧的基础之上，以及世纪风行的美式工业风语言的置入，完成功能的设置，并创造出自由、开放、轻松的就餐氛围。

这是一个朴实且有质感的设计，让COMMUNE成为无数年轻人心目中休闲娱乐之选。

PROJECT：COMMUNE (Nanning The Uptown branch) DESIGN DESCRIPTION

The first store was built in 1964, it quickly charmed the locals and became popular in the 1970s. The neighborhood used to be filled with water towers, factory walls painted red, broken warehouses, and pipes criss-cross all over the city. Later the city build houses using these abandoned warehouses and renovated interior leaving the structure the same. A lot of the walls got knocked down leaving an “open space design” redefining the experience of the local community and quickly became the central of the art district.

In the planning phase, COMMUNE needed a destination that is spacious to develop an open atmosphere, utilizing the foundation of these worn out storages, the COMMUNE team brought it back to life. Through careful planning we ensured the enrich history of these buildings are preserved.

The main structure is preserved to the best of its abilities with minor renovation done to the walls, roof, & flooring to maintain its original form.

The floor is redone with a layer of concrete, the beams are redone using black steel. From chair to tables, the bar is fully furnished using timber to recreate a 1900s Brooklyn feel.

For stronger visual impact, the roof is created using a standalone, double layer design. The metallic décor and lighting are strictly chosen to strengthen the industrial atmosphere.

Combined with the red paint and dim lighting, it helps create a mellow atmosphere, allowing the customers to step away from the fast-paced urban lifestyle.

The furniture are strictly handpicked to be ergonomic and rigid, allowing people to rest without losing out on the atmosphere.

To ensure an “open experience”, maximizing natural lighting is an important part of the designing phase. Window selection plays a major role in this part of the design. COMMUNE uses a pull-out style window imported from Schueco Germany that allows.

COMMUNE’s open bar has a wide variety of product selection, with two freezer 12m in length facing toward one another, leaving 1.5 meters in the middle allowing customers to move freely even during peak periods.

Other than the functionality introduced above, The COMMUNE team worked hard on improving the interior atmosphere to be photogenic. Small details like blackboards, image walls, historic decors, beer barrels to really strengthen that hearty industrial image. This design allows customers to not only enjoy the good food but also taking photos as well.

This is both an restoration and renovation project, thus during the design phase we emphasized on respecting the structure and made minor adjustments to it. During the restoration we added a touch of western feel on top of it, as well as functional improvements to create a light & open atmosphere for people to enjoy.
